Hello everyone! My name is L.A. Sanders, and I am excited to share a little bit about myself. As a Registered Nurse, I’ve dedicated my career to caring for others, and this passion fuels everything I do. Nursing has been more than just a job for me; it’s a calling that has allowed me to make a difference in people's lives every day.
I am also a proud mother of two wonderful children, a son who is 35 and a daughter who is 31. They have brought immense joy and fulfillment into my life, and I love watching them grow and thrive. My family doesn’t stop there—I am blessed with five adorable grandchildren, whom I lovingly nicknamed after my favorite meals: Cabbage, Cornbread, Porkchop, Pudding, and Peanut. Each of their names reminds me of the warmth and comfort that family brings, just like a home-cooked meal.
Recently, I took a big step in my career by opening my own STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant) school, aptly named "Caring With Dignity." This venture has been a dream of mine, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to teach aspiring nursing assistants. I believe in the importance of providing compassionate and respectful care, and I strive to instill these values in my students.
Every day, I am reminded of the profound impact that healthcare professionals can have on their communities. Through my school, I hope to inspire the next generation of caregivers to continue this legacy of kindness and dedication.
Thank you for taking the time to read about my journey. I look forward to sharing more stories and experiences with you as I continue to embrace the joys of family, nursing, and education!
